Face Yourself
It makes me sad that I don't have a real visual reference for Elena and Fenris, while I do for most of the regular "Glass Houses" cast. In my mind their faces are vague. karra is clever in that she often uses real people as models for her Mountie Slayer original characters, which also makes photo collages possible. Considering that even the characters who are canon and thus have a pre-made look are actually line drawings in my universe, that wouldn't work for me anyway, but it's a nice thought.
jmtorres valiantly tried to make a chibi Fenris face for me, but I couldn't be satisfied. Dumb on my part, since chibis are, by nature, not replicas of the people they represent; they're cuted-up exaggerations, sometimes parodic ones. (Chibi Aya licking his lollipop kills me.)
Thinking about it, visually Fenris is kind of a mix of GetBackers' Amano Ginji and Andromeda's Seamus Zelazny Harper. (I am now imagining Harper with electrical powers and the terror he would cause. "I'm the electric mayhem, baby!") He has Ginji's enthusiasm, air of innocence, and a bit of the hairstyle, but he's shorter, stockier, and less angular, like Harper.
Elena is more difficult. I have no real reference for her. Although her facial structure may be somewhat like this:
