I had a chance to watch another of Dad's Doctor Who DVDs today, this time "The Caves of Androzani," and I have to say that I enjoyed "Earthshock" much more. Parts of this dragged.
and it's the goading of the Master that triggers the regeneration. The guy playing Sharas Jek was very creepy. Love the commentary, with Nicola Bryant pointing out where Peri falls down a hole and then bounces up again briefly as she hits the mattresses hidden beneath, Peter Davison miffed that Peri's cleavage upstages his death scene and the entire cast cracking up at the henchman/android's line "We caught them by the narrows" *g*
Sigh... Colin Baker as number 6. Worst. Doctor. Evah.
Gav!
btw- do you want to be spoiled as to who the villains are in the first episode of Eccleston's upcoming series?
