I got the ways and means....
I got my tickets! Yes! And for less money than I expected, though I'll be staying two days later in the city (thus missing two more days of work) to make it work. Turns out that I picked a month when flights are booked almost solid. But if I wait any longer, it'll be way too hot there, so....
I have the first step in place. Now I have to book a room... and tell my boss. I told him about the intended trip in January and moved the trip dates out of March and into April in deference to Hell Month season, but he probably forgot. We got the "please try really hard to be in for the next unknown number of weeks" speech just this morning. *sigh* Well, we do what we have to, and I need this trip.
