While local magnolia blooming season is long past, now it's time for Prunus serrulata, the big, ruffly Japanese cherry blossoms, a favorite of mine. Sunday, I did some early morning, spring cemetery walking at All Faiths Cemetery, like around 8 am. I'm not often fully awake and wandering around at that time these days, so this brand of sunlight isn't something I'm often shooting photos under. Also, it's been cloudy as hell most of the time lately. You'll see lots of big, pink blossoming cherry trees at
my Flickr.
My allergies are going to be killing me anyway, so I might as well enjoy the prettiness I can find.

I started reading V.E. Schwab's The Fragile Threads of Power at the end of February but it feels like I've been stuck slogging in it forever. (I haven't put it down in favor of reading other novels so I can't use that excuse, though I have gotten through a few volumes of manga titles since.) Goodreads says I'm 94% done; I just have to keep pushing on. It's a problem for me that I dislike or hate most of the protagonists, especially Lila Bard. I'm not rooting for them. Maybe to try to make up for this, the author has made the majority of the antagonists loathsome.

I'm still slowly writing a large Weiß Kreuz WIP.
