I've posted a bunch of window display photos, including this somewhat surreal Kleinfeld Bridal two-window series that goes along with
their many other surreal windows over the years, to
my Flickr.
Congestion pricing, which will lead to me driving into Manhattan for anything far, far less since it's 24/7, is currently scheduled to start in June. I'm certainly not taking a train at the hours I usually shoot window displays, while a lot of my local buses don't even run then.

Last Wednesday I was so happy (and a bit proud of myself) that I got my taxes finished and had TaxSlayer.com send it out digitally that night. Sunday afternoon I checked out my e-mail inbox more closely and found an e-mail that the tax returns weren't accepted and I had to correct something and have TaxSlayer.com resend them! I figured out what to do to fix the issue and submitted them early Sunday evening, but while the federal return was accepted five hours later I didn't get an e-mail from TaxSlayer that the NY state return was accepted until early this afternoon. I was about to print the NY out and drive to the post office so it would go out on time, before the deadline.

I'm three episodes into the Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime, and so far I'm mostly enjoying it. The main protagonist was already so mindbroken by his horrific, exploitative workplace that he greets the zombie apocalypse with great joy. He'd much rather face this than go back to his job.... I'm kind of torn over some of the blood being depicted in unnatural, pretty colors other than just red, since it feels like a copout to me, though it seems to be explained as a result of the protagonist's state of mental health.

These horses are on a road near a bridal path in Forest Park, but I haven't personally seen people out horse-riding in the area for a long time. (I snapped out some quick photo shots while driving because if I parked the car and got out, the horses would've already been gone.)
