Small Council
I watched the first episode of House of the Dragon, which caught my interest so I'll keep going with it. Part of it is watching Matt Smith gleefully play another douchebag. (I also watched the character of color Targaryen in glee knowing that fanboys somewhere are losing their minds over it.)
Some warnings: It does have some female nudity and simulated sex in the very first episode to remind us it is Game of Thrones. Parts of the jousting tournament are really violent and brutal and make me wonder how they have many surviving knights to do actual work with if they destroy each other like this in their downtime. There's an equally brutal, bloody childbirth scene, which might have been presented like this for shock value but I think it's a timely reminder that pregnancy can be dangerous, especially when your doctors and husband don't value you as much as a baby.
Also, the blond wigs are fairly awful. I guess the Targaryens aren't familiar with conditioner or hair oils.

I enjoyed volume 2 of Heaven Official's Blessing more than volume 1, but so far I really prefer the Scum Villain's Self-Saving System series.
