It's All About the Food
I've been having terrible headaches lately and sleeping a lot, so I'm way behind.
For the December posting meme,
dine asked, "What's on the menu of your dream meal for a festive event?"
My ideal festive meal is family style, "take what you want," from big plates with other people, so I'd be taking bits of these:
seasoned salmon
grilled asparagus
mashed potatoes and gravy
candied sweet potatoes
stuffed mushrooms
broccoli and garlic
deviled eggs
chocolate mousse pie with crushed Oreo crust
dark chocolate cherry cake
It would probably take me a few hours to get through all that.
Or, in a somewhat different kind of twist, someplace offering a Chinese food buffet.
