Since gasoline has gone up 20¢ a gallon in Queens and Long Island in the last two weeks, I filled up Friday in the worry that it might continue rising. I hope prices calm down a bit once people realize white supremacists haven't taken over the country by force and that Biden isn't extreme left on fossil fuels because if prices keep up like this it's going to become a huge problem for me and a lot of other people.
I'm still experiencing pain in my shoulders and upper arms, to the point that I'm wondering if I should go to a doctor and try to get physical therapy, which I'm usually a huge proponent of but wearing a mask that long gives me serious headaches and some of the areas a therapist would have to reach would be covered by a mask. Are physical therapy offices even legally allowed to be open in NYC? The pain is at its worst when I first wake up.
Only me: Friday I somehow managed to roll my left ankle again while standing in a stable way on a level floor. I was locking my apartment door when my left ankle spasmed on its own, creating a very sharp pain. I put a brace on for several hours. Saturday I stayed off it almost the whole day and it seemed fine, no pain, almost no swelling. Then I went for a walk that night without the ankle brace and at past a half mile my left ankle and foot started hurting. Today I've been mostly wearing a brace for the compression for as long as I can stand. It's not sprained or all that swollen, but it's definitely hurting and a bit damaged.
My mental health hasn't been the greatest either, feeling somewhat depressed and isolated. Part of it has been losing contact with my "Glass Houses" beta, who mentioned being sick in the last e-mail I got from her a few weeks ago. My last two e-mails haven't gotten replies. I hope she's doing well and is just busy.
