I've been listening to KMFDM's Hell Yeah more and decided that I definitely like it. While WTF?! had some great songs and some eh songs, Hell Yeah is more consistent. (For those interested, Hell Yeah is dance-y electronic laced with industrial and metal crunch, while WTF?! is more straight industrial and metal electronic.) Also, it's a great album to get yourself pumped up to Resist, be a badass, do all the things, work out, dress and make yourself up to go out to a club, decorate your Christmas tree to (I did), go assassinate some people, whatever.
Though there are some brief moments that sound a bit like Duran Duran(!!) to me, like a musical bit at the beginning of "Rip the System V2.0" and the "Rise up" vocals in "Freak Flag."
I appreciate how many badass female vocal songs the band has given me over the years.

As another proof that you shouldn't use the number of comments on a fic at AO3 as an indicator of that individual story, my "
Clarity" is blatantly getting comments about the whole
And Yet, Hayama Hayato Can Still Surprise series for being the last fic available in it since the end of September.
Speaking of which, I got a positive comment on it that contained an assumption about where the series is going that I disagree with in a big way and I'm trying to figure out a good way to say the commenter is so wrong. The struggle is real.

According to Tumblr, there are some young folks social-justice-shaming older LGBTA+ folk for using the word "queer" to describe themselves and others because they think that historically "queer" was a slur. What? Kids, that shows you don't know jack about history, and every word you use to describe yourselves was and is a slur. Self-identify as you please, but don't impose on those of us who've actually lived through times and have our own self-identification and an urge to use a word that's an umbrella all of us can get under. Educate yourselves. I'm not gay, I'm not a lesbian, I'm bisexual and thus queer so, to quote a slogan, I'm here, I'm queer, get used to it.
