I Don't Even Know

I'm half-watching one of the (I think) last episodes of the Ash vs. Evil Dead TV series. Man, did this turn into a thankless grind. I'm just holding on to see how it ends.

In other weirdness, I've started watching an anime series that seems to be based off a dating sim and features a lot of non-Japanese gods (Greek, Norse, Egyptian) put through a Japanese filter and bishie-fied, with most of their more godly forms wearing very little clothing or dressed kinkily and the end credits having all the gods bare-chested and boybanding it up. For real, when the Japanese mortal teen girl protagonist first meets each one different flowers bloom behind him. Zeus abducted them all to send them to a school to try to make these gods strengthen their link with humanity. He made himself headmaster, of course. (She's mad he's kidnapped her and put her somewhere strange, while I was thinking she's lucky she's not pregnant. I hope Yui can't be paired with Zeus in this. I wonder if Hera will ever turn up, though the game and show probably don't bother themselves with her. She's an older woman!)

So far most of the male gods are cranky and rude, which was why I was fighting the possibility that Kamigami no Asobi had dating sim origins. Because I don't want any of 'em, no matter how pretty they are. Yeah, they've been abducted, but there's no reason to be such a jerk to a fellow abductee. I'm at the beginning of the series, but so far the gods: Apollo(n) is attentive but somewhat smarmy, Balder is sweet but trips on air, Loki is a mischievous super dick, Susanoo is a bit of a hot-tempered thug, Tsukiyomi is distant and somewhat dazed, Hades is the angsty type, and Thor and Dionysus don't have much personality yet. See some images of the cast.
