Gone

My parts of Queens still looks like parts of it got nuked. Giant tree bits everywhere. Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery is still "closed for weather" a week later. Near one of their gates is a giant tree torn out by its roots, taking half a hill with it. One of the steel cables on the Unisphere broke, though I hear the New York Pavilion is okay.

From how localized some of the devastation it is, I really think we had a few twisters touch down. Some of my favorite trees are kindling. I won't even know what kind of damage Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery took until they reopen. Statues, gravestones, etc. St. John's Cemetery is open for people to come in, though there's a ton of broken tree bits around and it has a chicken wire fence up in the area where a tree took down parts of its steel fence. Some local parks are closed due to devastation as well.

FEMA is expected to arrive in Queens soon to inspect the damage. Now we're in trouble.
