hmm...
bryan's mom bought an adjustable window screen from menards this last weekend. it was on sale and she thought bryan would want to use it for his hot glue sculptures. he said no, so i asked if i could have it. i guess she thought it was a waste to sew on it and then not be able to use it again (the thing was only $1.50!).
whatever.
i got it in my art area and i'm pretty excited about how it can adjust to 18 inches wide! i'm not sure what i'll sew on it though...something auto-biographical but i should do some research on storytelling and historical embroidery.
my big thing this last year is using a traditional medium (embroidery) and make graphic art subject matter with it. my big dream is to be in the bfa program at uno with this idea but we'll see if it'll happen.
i'll probably talk to bryan about executing this but after his bfa show which is next friday.
