taxes.
i was planning to do taxes myself this year.
last year, when my dad was in miami, he had our taxes done there. it was a lot of money. too much money for a single like me so i thought i'd give it a shot.
i did a free federal one to see how far i could get and see an estimate (because these make my head hurt!). i was unsure about the total and didn't want to mess up if i submitted it to e-file. then, kick myself later if i could've gotten a better deal.
so now i plan to do it through a tax preparer. one of which i have $25 off the prep thanks to my employer. i rather pay someone to do this than me and not completely investigate all avenues to get more money. *rubs hands together* :P because that's the tax preparer's job.
now all i need to do is wake up early to go and stand in line (if there is a line).
