For crying out loud, people! PUH-LEEZE learn the difference between dying and dyeing.
If you're intentionally adding color to or changing the color of an article by immersing it in a bath of chemical/pigment, you are dyeing it.
Hopefully you're not also dying---expiring, passing away, losing your life force, life essence, experiencing the departing ( ... ) -
Let Us Be Sane, Rational, Reasonable and Just, And Stop Thinking With Our Flyaway Emotions
For a little while---a very little while---I was angry and indignant over this recent incident, but now I just find it disappointing and even pitiable and the party responsible for it a very sad object of pity and in a weird way, compassion because I also find the situation rather pathetic.

Can You Identify This Insect?
If you're a fellow gardener (or an entomologist, or both), can you identify this insect? It's lacking the characteristic "wheel cog" of a wheel bug. I know it's hard to tell that from this image, but honest: I'm sure it isn't there.
