stuff you should look at (or, fandom is shinier than real life)
omniocular is hosting the August Deathly Hallows Challenge. I skimmed through the list of almost 250 prompts, and I'm dying of fanfic-related excitement just looking at it. Fascinating ideas and scenarios about -- go and take a look! Also during August, nest_of_spiders will be dispensing a prompt a day and is open to all fic/art from the First War era (1970-1981). I didn't write anything during the first round of prompts, but hopefully, that will change.
See, I had this Lucius/Narcissa idea for yesterday's prompt and wrote about 200 words it before I realised that it had mutated into Something Entirely Different. So I am now trying to write that and will try again with today's prompt. :p
Lastly, shaychana wrote an interesting and quite comprehensive analysis of the women in DH. And, now, I need to eat lunch and, erm, write some more.
