Working to die.
Ah, Jules, you crack me up with your clarity. XD
oops. I realise that people don't really care about my day so...
Where was I? I swear each time, I do an LJ cut, my thought gets cut too. T.T
So today was a completely nice change from the usual. I actually woke up 'early' but lazing around in bed and listening the rythmic sounds of raindrops lulled me back to slumber until one? Yeah. Watched Sponge and then it was off to meet with Jules for lunch! :) I hope your day/week gets better!
Had lunch at Banquet. I ordered crispy white carrot cake. Which should have been great with sambal but...oh god, what in the world happened?! The sambal tasted sourish weird. Totally unlike what I was expecting. And the presentation. Where was the golden?! It was freaking orange. ORANGE okay?! Like they didn't wipe the wok properly or something. T.T
I have every right to complain since I paid so bear with me. Was a tad hungry (since if you haven't noticed, this was brunch for me, lunch for her). Wanted fried dumpling but they said they didn't sell it. T.T WTH. Why'd you put it on the signboard then?! At the very least, cover it please. So I ordered dumpling soup then. They almost got my order mixed up. The guy heard chicken rice. RICE!!!
I guess I should have realised the error when he asked steamed or roast chicken? Me, being the stupid fool said anything. (Cos I have been to places where they made dumplings on the spot. So I thought they had two different fillings! XD )
Argh. Thus, I repeated my order but unfortunately, they got it wrong. AGAIN. They got me dumpling noodles. At least, I got my dumplings which thankfully were good enough. Or rather the excellent company made the food far more bearable than it actually should taste like.
Headed to AMK Hub as we looked for a suitable gift. Jules, cheer up kays? We parted ways after that - still, it was utterly wonderful to just walk down the streets and just talk and talk and talk. Yup, yup. Just wonderful. <3
I wonder who next to call up for lunch...siow yi maybe? Hmm...

He has an 8PM CURFEW. I AM EFFIN SERIOUS. That was the reason why he broke up with a girlfriend since with that kind of a curfew, he wouldn't exactly have time for her...the poor thing. All grown up and yet still has a curfew. And nope, not set by his management but rather his father. :) Information's from Lie Series, Sponge. They had the father hooked up to a lie detector. I'm still shocked myself and slightly grateful that my curfew's later than that.
