[After a certain amount of time and in speaking with a number of the residents during the event, Wesker was beginning to feel a little...wild and crazy. Well, wild and crazy for him, anyways. He had been quite pleased in imagining up the T-002, but he was feeling that it wasn't enough. No; there needed to be more.
Lickers and
hunters start

A noise behind her. She turns, and kafpafhapfnain whatthefuckisthat?!!?!!!!
She drops the skull, and when it hits the suddenly concrete floor it shatters. The noise excites the beast.
Then it charges.
She breaks into a run, tripping up slightly in her high-heeled boots. She manages to get some distance between herself and the hunter as she sprints down the hall in near-blind panic. Skidding around the corner, she looks over her shoulder to see how close--
She's stopped cold as she hits something hard, but oh so familiar...]

Simply minding his own business, the tyrant close behind him, Wesker continues down the hall at a relaxed pace, smirk plastered to his face. He's about to round the corner when a;sldkjfl;dsajf!! He catches the person, the tyrant at his side in an instant, claws at the ready.]
You may want to watch where you're go-Doctor Brennan? [He peeks around the corner, and sure enough he's face to face with one of his own creations.]

So he's holding Brennan by the shoulders. But imagine he's holding a 5'9" cat who is absolutely freaked right the fuck out. Like at bath time. Or dogs in the room. Or, y'know, you're showing your cat to your new friend, who just sneezed. Because that's how she's acting.
In her frenzy, she happens to look to the side and catches sight of the tyrant with it's claws all bared.
Suddenly becoming very aware that she's being restrained, she goes completely rigid, eyes huge and locked on the tyrant.
She didn't even notice someone was speaking to her...]

He looks to the side and nods, the tyrant backing away to stand behind him once again. He also allows for the hunter to disappear.]
It will not harm you, Doctor Brennan. [You can bet your socks that his voice is as calm as ever to help her relax.]

Doctor Wesker? D-- Did you make those things?

[His expression remains serious as he looks down at her.] The hunters, along with the creature behind me, are from my world.

Why?
[Shrinking toward him, eying the tyrant behind him with icy animosity.]
What are they?

[Her reaction to the tyrant does not go unnoticed, and it disappears into a silver mist.] Again, I apologize if it frightened you.
[But looking closer at her, he notices marks on her jaw. He tilts his head, eyebrow raising as he remembers what had taken place earlier that week.] And it seems I have more to apologize for...

Those were what happened to test subjects? [Furrowed brow.]I thought you were working with a human-borne disease...?
[The tyrant's disappearance momentarily catches her attention. As she turns back, intending to forgive him for everything, she notices him eying her.
Apologize? Oh baby, you have no idea...
She flashes him a coy smile and pulls her hair back so he can see the bruises not only on her jawline, but down her neck as well. Slowly pulling aside her shirt collar, she reveals bruising along her collarbone and shoulders as well. Then, letting her hair fall around her face, she pulls up her sleeves, revealing yet more bruising around her wrists...
She raises an eyebrow. Need I show you more?]

[If his eyebrows could go any higher at seeing all the bruising, they would fly off his face. He did that? But...Yes, he was starting to remember now. The images from that night flooded back, his thoughts now crashing into one another.
How was he supposed to react to seeing this? He had no intention of doing what he did to her, and yet...No, no need to show him more. He gets it. He very much does.
He shakes his head, still trying to wrap his head around what had happened. He lost control. Then again, he could use this. Use what had happened between them to his advantage. He had suspected that she was interested in him, but between what happened that night and how she was reacting now, he knew he had her. Soon, she would become his new Jill, yes...]
I...Are you all right? [switch on the fake apology face] My apologies for...what I did. I had no ( ... )

You've no need to apologize. I'm fine.
[Then, in a most talented fashion, her expression slips from sexy to slightly more serious.]
So the tyrant virus affects DNA to that extent? Is there any sort of treatment yet? How was this virus discovered? Has it been a concern in your world for long?
[Oh no. Sexy and smart at the same time! What now?]
Reply
[His expression mirrors hers, the smile disappearing almost completely.] You are correct. The tyrant virus reacts in accordance with the genetic code of each individual. An antidote has been manufactured, but like all viruses, the tyrant virus continues to mutate faster than cures can be created. [A frustrated sigh escapes.] My mentor, Doctor Marcus, had conducted research on his own with Spencer in the 60s, the experiments eventually leading to the creation of the virus. [He clenches his jaw, the anger toward Spencer once again returning.]

Her throat is so tight she can do little more than whisper.] That's horrible. I hope these Doctors receive proper retribution for what they've created...

Due to his health, Spencer passed shortly after our confrontation a few years ago. [His voice drops a bit.] Needless to say, it angers me that he was able to remain under the radar for so long, never once being imprisoned for his research.
[And then randomly (probably due to the heightened emotions at this point), images from the other night once more flood his mind. The sound of the breaking glass fills head, and it only continues to grow louder.
Sadly, the sound of the glass becomes too much and a flask manifests behind Brennan, shattering as it hits the hard floor.]

Well, I'm gla--
[Her nerves are so tightly wound right now that the sound of breaking glass behind her startles her significantly more than one might expect. Usually, her "fight or flight" reflex tends to lean more toward "fight", and under normal circumstances she would dash forward a few paces, then turn to fight.
But she's standing very close to Wesker...
So all she manages to do is jump forward and slam into Wesker again.]

My apologies, Doctor Brennan. It seems my mind was elsewhere...
[His eyes find the bruises on her jaw and he looks away, wanting the images to leave his mind.]
