I drove all night.....
So I am now home from visiting Michigan for the past few days. Although it was an 11 hour drive from here to there, it went quickly thanks to the company and some good music. I had a wonderful time with Ricardo- we did a shitload of bonding and I think he and I are going to be really good friends. Well, we're already good friends in this short amount of time. He is refreshing.
Wednesday we went to Casey's concert and then hung out afterwards. Thursday we...well we did something during the day but I can't remember. In the evening we went gay bar hopping and met some people. Friday we drove to Lansing to visit some friends and family of his and then went out to a gay bar, Spiral, in the evening. Saturday we spent some time with friends and family again, then headed back to GR to go out to Diversions for Halloween weekend. I was especially pleased when I realized that Michigan takes the extra hour from DST and uses it to drink. Here in PA they still make you go home at what would have been 2. Not that I needed another hour to drink- I was pretty toasted and managed to do my typical knock-the-table-over-spill-the-beer-make-a-mess and almost fall over on bembacolora. It ended up being another late but fun night. I had originally wanted to leave for home in the late morning but because of the nightly drinking and all, we took it slow and went out to lunch with Ricardo's mother, then stopped for coffee at Discussions, and finally left around 3pmish.
Apologies to Terry, Fred, Candy and Tina for not getting a chance to say goodbye and goodnight! I remember going upstairs for something-probably the bathroom...then got distracted by the kitty. Next thing I know Mario's waking me up since I had passed out in the TV room. Whoops! I had a great time with all of you!
