Warning Labels

Aug 03, 2005 02:06

On a random inspiration I was walking around my house reading warning labels. I now think that I have lost most of my faith in humanity... I know this comes from the person who has licked cleaning products, but seriously some of this stuff makes me wonder what  the hell happened to require these types of cautionary advisements. So with no further ado, I give you random warning labels...

I know it seems strange to have so much of this in my house, but really the art projects sometimes require it...

I can't imagine what inspired that warning, but I imagine it has something to do with liquor, a halloween party dare and some dumbass goth kids trying to be cool.

This is meant to snap tiny animals in half, maybe you shouldn't stick your fingers in it... Why people need to be reminded of that makes me wonder. But really if you are stupid enough to stick your finger in it, I am guessing that you probably don't know how to read so it's all good.

Really? Melted glue is hot? Who knew? "Nozzle are temperature reaches up to 380 degrees"? The amazing asian warning label is so easy to understand too!

A good warning for people who have not yet figured out that their no-no bits are not made out of wood. It amazes me that people really would do that. I have gone pretty far. I  have used Febreeze on my dirty laundry, I have even in desperation used Lysol on my hair, but wood polish for my crotch or anywhere else for that matter, is something I would have never thought about. Thank god for consumer advocates!

Discontinue use when child is old enough to defeat it? They will never be discontinued in this house, because I can never get the damned things out of the wall. Seriously, I think they lace them with superglue. But I bet you if I asked Lily to get one out of the wall, no problem, it would probably take 2 seconds.

"Non accessable to yellowjackets" Right... So you should put the pest trap where the bugs can't get trapped in it... Gotcha.

I know I never comment or update anymore. I am sorry for not commenting, you all should probably be grateful that I don't update very often. My life is truly boring right now, thus leading me to search my house for warning labels for inspiration. It's kinda sad. I hope everyone is well and having a good summer. Take care!
