Violet - I’m hoping you’ll help our watcher in training, Dallas. I want her to give a practical demonstration tomorrow. I’m asking you because you’re an experienced slayer, and so hopefully will put her at ease, as I know these assignments can be a little daunting. About 3pm in the training room. Thanks.
Ok, that’s fine, might go and see if she wants to get some practise in. The cellar is pretty well equipped and it would be good to see how she moves before we have to show the boss man.
Nice that David has trust in my ability. Dinner last night had been a little quiet, not many people there, and those that were were kind of subdued. I guess the shinyness of triffy being back had been dulled a little by the fact she was a little.... crazy, but then who wouldn’t be after all she had been through, note to self, go see Triffy. If David was asking me to do things like this it would mean moving into a teaching role if we ever got this school up and running would work.
I got dressed in loose clothing, easy to fight in, moveable, flexible, not that i hadn’t fought in a mini-skirt and high heels but hey, we might as well dress for comfort if we wanted to :)
I went up to the watchers floor and knocked on Dallas’s door.
