#SHERLOCK: This is an Answer to a Question that turned out to be a Post (Hello, btw!)

I got into touch for the first time with the the BBC show Sherlock when I was in Budapest in 2011. I loved the show, I found it fascinating. Also, then, I met for the first time Benedict Cumberbatch ( Read more... )

Hehey))

You know, today I thought of waiting for your comment and I thought that it would turn out to be a post - very probably, at least :)

Maybe the thing is that I didn't wait for years between the seasons, and I just grabbed it in one bite in two days. Maybe I just didn't watch the series for several times and don't perceive all the shadows and pieces. Maybe this going crazy builds up slowly, and you (as much as whole wild Sherlok fandom) are far ahead of me in this sense.

I watched, I laughed, I liked the mysteries and riddles and I perceived some of Sherlock emotions, but it's didn't run deep (yet?) and I don't feel all that range of emotions just hearing the soundtrack theme, maybe, as the long termed Sherlock fans do. And I want to understand :)

Wishing to understand, I also went to a Sherlock community to see the theories on the Reichenbach episode. And you know, reading all the, was really, really interesting. I loved a thourough analysing of the I-O-U meaning through the fairy tales of Grimm brothers (I - 9 - The twelve brothers, O -15 - Genzel and Grethel, U - 21 - Cinderella),did you see that one? ha

Survival theories - oh yes, they were very interesting, indeed :):)
By the way, I'm proud of you too :)

I must say I don't have that much knowledge on the canon (oh, my, I've read it 20 years ago!! I think I've read everythin there were but it was such a long time ago), so I don't see all the easter eggs that make this story a beautiful and detailed picture. I can understand them only through other people's sharing of this)

And as for the emotional part - I like how they play, indeed, but I don't perceive all the many things that people write on Sherlock emotions, hair and the coat.

Maybe I need to re-watch it in the original language too)

...that was me explaining thing I don't quite perceive hoping that maybe you'll tell me more about it? ;)

Hahah~
I really love when you predict my movements XD

So, you are a newbie in Sherlock! That's OK. You don't need to worry for that matter xD
Since you are considering re-watching it, I highly recommend to you to do so. You already noticed there's is much more there than you can catch at the first glance/time, so go on! Enjoy it more!
I myself need to re-watch it a couple of times to really get into all details (which I love and consider part of what makes this show so special: it's not flat, it's not stupid, it has been carefully thought, for smarties XD).

((Don't worry about not catching some parts, I often go to Google/Wikipedia to actually get them xDDD))

And OFC! If you didn't whatch it in English, that a very-very bad thing. You probably miss most of the great Benedict (and Martin) performance!!

Hugs, my dear!
