He's stable. She's not.

Wow. I'm impressed by the additional Mark/Lexie in 6x24.

She tells him about her encounter with the shooter! Well... almost.

Mark: There isn't any other way.
Lexie: No, I might, I might have read something. I might know another way. I, if I could just… I killed that man's wife. I found a way to do that, I made myself kill Gary Clark's wife, so I should damn well be able to do this.
Mark: We're at the end of the road.
Lexie: We can't just let him die.

This toxic guilt complex - on top of all that PTSD, survivor's guilt, perceived professional shortcomings, serious relationship issues, denial of unwelcome feelings -is leading right into nervous breakdown, for sure. And it should be treated with much more than "just sleep". Just saying.

And I hope she remembers afterward that even for Mark, there are some boundaries to what he wants to do and what he can do. And if she doesn't remember afterward how incredibly awesome Mark Sloan truly is, I'd be more than happy to tell him myself! ;-)

And as I promised before, I will totally pretend now that I DID NOT NOTICE that Lexie's gaze lingers on the buggy and on the empire style tunic and that she looks down at her own belly and touches herself with both her hands. She's just hyperventilating from stress and trying to get rid of a side ache, obviously, right? ;-)

shipper: mark/lexie, spoiler, grey's anatomy
