Volunteering yesterday was boring. The same vacant building burned twice (!!), though we only went once. We ate Bread Co. (aka Panera, for those of you outside of Da Lou). We watched Just Like Heaven (really, it makes me sad when my favourite songs from junior high get covered badly). The boring-ness of the evening was good, as we were all tired and out of it.
Today I made a trip to Trader Joe's for work lunches. I spent a ton of money on frozen burritos and Indian food in packets. I'll be eating good for a few months. I also got a frozen pizza with mushrooms and artichoke hearts. It's gross--I cooked it twice as long as it called for on a higher temperature, and it was still underdone and gross. Sadness.
I wore a
One Skein Wonder to work today. It went over very well. And my hot pink shoulders were toasty and warm all day, even in the overly air-conditioned building. Yay!
Tonight I'm going to follow up my debaucherous weekend with a rather calm evening at Requiem, dancing in a new club. (Really, it would be nice to stay at the same place for a while.) Word on the street is that all the cool kids will be there; you should be, too.
