I am so happy. I finally have a working monitor for my desktop! Oh, high-speed ethernet! How I've missed you! ^_^
This means all sorts of good things. No more laptop-dependency for one thing. Emails will be answered! Mailing lists will be paid more attention to! I'll be able to log in to things without my laptop freezing and crashing because... I won't be using my laptop. *laughs* Oh, MP3s and streaming video! Oh, DVD player and not having to worry about tying up the phone line! Hurrah!
