the smoking ban passed by the republican('less government') GA general assembly. which basically means that ALL restaurant owners must ban smoking unless they do not allow 18 year-olds in.
No waffle house, Manuel's Tavern, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse etc. I don't even smoke, and I'm upset. It really should be up to the business owner, and not the government.

Kroger has stopped carrying fresh orange juice. I guess they're afraid of getting sued for possible food-bourne illness.
Zeigler's used to make fresh apple juice. then they started pasteurizing it. I might as well go into the non-refrigerated section to get a jar of that stuff, cuz it's almost the same thing once you've boiled it.
fortunately, Publix still carries Natalie's Orchid Fresh Squeezed OJ. (not pasteurized). So I guess when I get a cold or flu, I'll have to shop during PUBLIX hours now.
