The nudity isn't so much of a problem for nudity's sake, but a NSFW (not safe for work) and a cut is sort of a nice courtesy. Quickly scrolling past the Betty Page shot earlier got a little scoff from a coworker in a meeting today.

Exactly, and YOUR work. For every one Ameircan scrolling past boobs at work I have ten others going "why should I cut this? It's not dirty.." the rules need to favor the majority.

What you have written is reasonable, simple and easy to understand. If those that come to this site want something more, or less, then they should go elsewhere and/or stop being self-interested. I have been coming to vintagephotos for quite some time - every day - and enjoy it immensely. I did complain when someone posted an image that was child exploitation bordering on child pornography - it was dealt with appropriately. All good to you folk who moderate and contribute. Thank you!

Thank you for your well-thought-out and efficient mathematical equationing.

Also, I would like to point out that not all Americans are freaked out by boobies. I am quite thankful for this fact, since otherwise I would have to shower in the dark.

Wow. Just went and read the comments to the post that started the brouhaha. Nevermind, I'll just leave the community. Shame to see it go. I'll miss the lovely historical photos, but guess I'll just have to hit up Shorpy instead.
