i got an interview today at 4pm for burlington coat factory..they need help in recieving, so i think i might try that out..i put my ap in about a week ago and they called me this morning..so that shit might be good..my car is dead..she just gave out on me..ive had it for 5 years..ive been the only one to drive it..i got it when i graduated in 99..its a 99 dodge neon..it did me well for awhile..but neons are known to have leaks..the head gasget blew..so to fix it its gonna cost min 1500 - 2000..the car is only worth 1300 if its runnin..so its pointless to fix..i just decided im gonna cop a used car under 10 g's just to last me for a few years..car max has 6 year warranties on their used cars..which is awesome for the amount of time i need it for..media play offered me a managment position..which is cool..my manager is actually a cool guy..the new manager..seemin that weve had about 6 in the last 2 years..but hes cool..hes the only one to actually stand by his word for the past 8 months and work as hard as we do..he sees that i do my thing and that the store would fall apart without me..he asked me if ive ever thought about a managment position..i told him i dont think i could handle the stress with that joint..too much drama..but then my car gave out..he asked me again cuz he knows i could use the cash..now im thinkin about it..i know its at least a 2 dollar raise..the chick i spoke with from another media play said they pay at least 25 g's a year for the position..but im sure id get less..just cuz they jerk me..but shit..even if they pay me 19 0r 20 a year id be makin so much fuckin more than i am now..i dont wanna have a stressful job like that..but money is money..and u need it to surrvive..so fuck it..i run that fuckin store anyways..so i need to see about it..it would be a lot easier than workin from 8 - 5 at burlington and then 9 - 10 at media play everyday..i would go crazy and get burned out..i just gotta see what they say about the pay of that position..best buy offered me a job..they straight came into the store an recruited me..i guess a few of my frequent customers went over there and spoke on me..they offered me 2.50 more than i get paid at MP..just to fuckin start..so its somthin to keep in mind..i just dont like best buys vibe..they seem slick and they dont really let people who work there do their thing..we had a store meetin lastnight..and the managers kept talkin so good on me..about my customer return base..and how customers will only shop if im there..its true to a point..but it made some of the cats i work with kinda pissed at me..they gave me a big ass gift card in front of everyone and wouldnt stop talkin about my work ethic..i appreciated it at first but then in a room of like 30 cats who work beside me and half of them who try just as hard..it kind of makes u feel like a fuckin punk..i dont know what to do..they keep askin me if im "happy there"..i dont know if maybe it leaked out that i got other offers..maybe thats why they offered me managment..we will see..as for now i gotta get a ride..this borrowin cars and havin to pay gas money to everyone is gettin old as hell..my and manda are good..college pretty much is outta the picture right now..not cuz i dont want to..but cuz i cant fuckin afford it..now that my car is shot i gotta put it on hold till i can save..it sucks cuz its like when i think im getti nahead i get knocked back down not one notch but two..on a reg..shit will happen..i just gotta bust myself..im watchin my niece right now..we are watchin "bear bears" (care bears)..she loves this shit..the sad thing is i remember watchin this stuff when i was little..good times..i got that new "mira ben ari"(dont have the cd cover here to pronounce right)..but shes that hip hop violinist from the middle east..the cd is hot..its got anthony hamilton, john legend & musiq..so many more people too..i highly recommend it..just dropped yesterday..i gotta get outta here and get a shower..peace everyone..hope everyones goos
