Today there was some sort of meeting for the teachers (I believe they were all going off to meet the parents/guardians). It meant the day was short - it was over by 15:00. Thus was born me being able to leave early. (As Tasaki-sensei said, "Nobody will be here, students or teachers, so you should go home too.") Thus I was able to actually get the lining for my Edwardian jacket cut out. ... After almost an hour of ironing because the fabric had been left in the storage box for so long. l-lol

But it's cut (I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaate the cutting part). Now I can begin the pinning and sewing. I think I've given up on the idea of a year-long sewing machine purchase; there's really nothing I'd consider cheap (the cheapest I saw way about $127) and I'm just as good for hand sewing anyway.

I also have a third embroidery project in the works - so far only the design is drawn. Must go buy thread in Utsunomiya this weekend.

P.S. For real, Tochigi, your policy of sunny-rain-rain-rain-rain-rainrainrainrainrain-sunny-rain is seriously not fun anymore. Please to be giving me nice weather, thanks.
