There is a good collection of German ads by year HERE (and for each year as linked below).  What makes it unique is the number of EAST German ads.
My only complaints are the complicated navigation on the site (which I tried to overcome for you below) and the tiny size of the images.

Keyword: Canadair Communists (or should I say, ANTIcommunists).

Canadair (Aircraft manufacturer)  1955 & 1956

This series of ads shows Canada (and one manufacturer in particular) caught up in the Red Scare.  Eternal vigilance, opposed to our way of life, etc, etc.  A common tone of scolding complacent Canadians is quite evident.  Have fun!
