Now for the token recap of my days' events.
I woke up around 2 p.m. and took a shower. I then proceeded to get dressed and eat a bowl of cereal. I watched an excellent movie on HBO2 that I saw a while back. I can't remember the name off of the top of my head, but I wrote it down so I can download it whenever I get my laptop back. If I get it back.
I also watched a flick I'd never seen before called "Pie in the Sky." It was decent, a romantic film. It's more or less a story of love-at-first-sight and growing up. It was quirky in a good sort of way.
After I got my monthly television fix I headed to the clubhouse to get online, where I spent several hours vegetating in front of a computer screen. I left, then walked to work. I worked 3rd shift.. 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. I managed to randomly bump into my old friend Steph before I got too far and she gave me a ride home, which was greatly appreciated since it was pouring. Correction- is pouring.
Dee - spuds_sheets - called tonight, which I am very appreciative of. I need to start carrying my phone card along with her phone number in my wallet so I can actually return the favor sometime. I hope you don't feel like I don't want to call... I'm just retarded and I never remember to bring my phone card. =/ It's always a pleasure to talk to you.
Now I'm back here at the clubhouse, just checking e-mail and all that jazz.
I really wish I had a digital camera. I would take so many pictures of various things... perhaps then people would actually enjoy reading my LJ... ^_-
Can anyone reccommend to me any music that I "must hear?" It's been a while since I have heard anything that's rocked my socks off. The new Basement Jaxx is great, but one album isn't enough to satiate my urge for new music. I just can't seem to find anything mind-blowing as of late, except in the hip-hop genre.
Lafayette/West Lafayette people - I have Wednesday off. If anyone is free and feels like hanging out, let me know A.S.A.P. so we can make plans. I am up for anything. I'll probably be asleep until about 2 p.m. since I'll be working 3rd shift again tonight. I will post up my schedule for next week tomorrow morning, since it hasn't been finished yet. (The store manager always waits until the last fuckin' second to get stuff done.)
