This is something deep, something that has perplexed me for a long time. There is a conspiracy out there. I can sense it but can't explain it.  These days one of McCain's talking point and reason to vote for him is his record of "extending arm across the aisle". Take any speech, invariably he'll say that..."I've done this many times before....I know what it is like to extend arm across the aisle"
