I'm all moved into the apartment over Izzy's shop. Not that there was alot to move. Think I'll go back home in a few weeks and grab some more stuff. Depends if I can get some sort a work thing going here. Not gonna stay if I can't keep paying Izzy rent. Got some money in savings to cover me for a while, and she said not to worry about it, but fuck

Damn. "Ok, let me know if you need any help with that." I watch him walk towards the bathroom before going over to the phone. I dial Iz's number and talk to her briefly while he's in the shower. By the time Ms Worried gets done asking me questions, I hear the water turn off, so I hang up with her and wait for him to come out of the bathroom.

Half way though the shower, I debate turning it into a cold one, thats how bad she got to me. I hurry and shower and get dressed. Walk back out to the living room. "All set?"

"Yeah, ready when you are." I smile at him. "You look nice, by the way."

[vince_delacour]

"Thanks." Smiling, "You are beautiful as always, if I didn't say so earlier." I grab the keys and my wallet. "So did Izzy blow a gasket?" I open the door for her.

I smirk at him and walk out the door, answering him as I descend the steps. "Nah, I told her we were going out to get something to eat. She was cool since I wasn't going to be by myself, plus she gets to be alone with your brother." I stop by the cars and raise an eyebrow at him. "Your rental car or mine?"

"Heh, did you tell her where we were going to eat?" Raising an eyebrow back at her. Clears throat, "Yeah, they do seem to enjoy their alone time." Looks at the cars. smirks. "Depends, how bad do you drive?"

"No, but she didn't ask." I grin at him. "And baby, I've been living in New York city for the past 7 years, how bad do you think I drive?"

"Figured as much. She's gonna kill me for this." Smiling at her, "Thats not a ringing endorsement. I know how bad they drive there. Okay, I'm up for an adventure, I'll put myself into your safe hand. You drive"

"She is not. If she gets mad you can blame it on me." I unlock the door and give him a wink before getting in and starting the car. "And remember you said that about my hands." I pull out of the parking lot and glance over at him. "You're gonna have to tell me where to direct my hands to, though."

Near choking, I say,"Yeah, ah it's not that far. Take a right at the end of the drive and a left at the stop sign. It's down the street on the left." Figuring it's best to ignore the blatant innuendo.

Pulling up near the bar, she parks the car. "Are you sure you want to do this? We can just go the little italian place and get something to eat."

"And what, share a plate of spaghetti? We could've ordered out and stayed in if we were gonna do that." I tell him as I open the door and get out, smirking. "C'mon, let's see what this town really has going on that's got my sister so wigged."

Getting out of the car. "Do you make it a policy to do something just cause your sister tells you, you shouldn't?" STarts walking with her to the entrance of the bar.

"No, I don't make it a policy, it just seems to happen that way." I walk inside after he opens the door, and glance back at him. "Besides, you said you were up for an adventure." I smile at him before taking a look around; normal, normal, normal, whoa-that guy with the third eye and scaly blue skin is SO not normal!

I grab Vince's arm and try not to be obvious. "Um, so was that the kind of people you and Stef saw at lunch the other day?"

"Nah, when Stef an I came here it was at lunch, not many people in here then and the all looked like people." I put my hand on the small of her back and direct her to a table. Astra is behind the bar and I smile at her. waiting for her to sit down,, I then sit and hand her a menu. "Anything look good to you?"

I look over my menu at him. "You mean on the menu or what's sitting across from me?"

Coughs again. "On the menu." My God, she's making me crazy. I smile ruefully at her. "Have you found anything you'd like to eat?"
