I'm all moved into the apartment over Izzy's shop. Not that there was alot to move. Think I'll go back home in a few weeks and grab some more stuff. Depends if I can get some sort a work thing going here. Not gonna stay if I can't keep paying Izzy rent. Got some money in savings to cover me for a while, and she said not to worry about it, but fuck

Iz sent me down to her office to get her laptop, I'm thinking a quick stop to say hi to Vince can't hurt while I'm here. I grab her laptop and head up the stairs, doing a quick check of my appearance in the window outside before I knock on the door.

I hear a knock on the door, thinking it could only really be Stef so I don't bother to put my shirt back on. I open the door and see India standin ther instead. "Ah, hey!" I smile awkwardly.

Well well well, and what have we here? I can't help but smirk and give him an appraising look. "Hey yourself. I was grabbing something for Iz and thought I'd say hi since I was here." I hold up the laptop to show him. "Did I catch you at a bad time?"

"No, I was just headed to take a shower. Uh..come on in." I say as I move outta her way to come through. "Give me a minute to grab a shirt. Have a seat, or your welcome to grab something to drink in the fridge or something." I head back to the bathroom and grab my t-ahirt throwing it back on.

So going to ignore the comment about awkwardness. He seems to agree with Iz, anyway.

"Well, it sounds like this Willy's is the place to go for demon spotting then. I have to admit I'm rather curious to see what a real demon looks like, and thanks to you, I know to go afer dinner." I grin at him. "Any idea when you were thinking of heading back to get your stuff?"

Groans. "You ain't going to Willys after dinner, 'specially not alone. I know theres no way in hell Iz is gonna take you. Plus something happens to you and it'll be on my head. No way"

I raise an eyebrow at him. "How would it be on your head? Did Iz make you my other jailer? And I wasn't planning on going alone, I figured if Iz wouldn't take me I'd ask Stefan to, or her friend Evalon. How the hell else am I supposed to know what to watch out for if she won't show me?" I finish the rest of my beer and get up to throw the bottle away. "You know, I'm not this little helpless girl Isabella likes to think I am."

"What is with you Hick's women that you think you can take on the whole world all by yourselves? And no she didn't make me your jailer. My call to you is what brought you here, if something were to happen to you, it'd be my fault. I said I'd help look out for you. I don't see how I'd be doing that by letting you go alone. And Stef would take you cause he knows I'd kick his ass, if Izzy didn't. I'm sure the same goes with Evalon." I finish the rest if my beer and get up to grab another.

Damn. "Ok, let me know if you need any help with that." I watch him walk towards the bathroom before going over to the phone. I dial Iz's number and talk to her briefly while he's in the shower. By the time Ms Worried gets done asking me questions, I hear the water turn off, so I hang up with her and wait for him to come out of the bathroom.

Half way though the shower, I debate turning it into a cold one, thats how bad she got to me. I hurry and shower and get dressed. Walk back out to the living room. "All set?"

"Yeah, ready when you are." I smile at him. "You look nice, by the way."

[vince_delacour]

"Thanks." Smiling, "You are beautiful as always, if I didn't say so earlier." I grab the keys and my wallet. "So did Izzy blow a gasket?" I open the door for her.

"Having one now, are we?" I ask over my drink before taking a sip. "Maybe not the only one, but you're not like most guys, Vince. And you still haven't answered my question."

Smiling at her, "Noticed that, did you? No, your flirting doesn't make me uncomfortable. Well not uncomfortable in a bad way, anyways." Taking another drink, "How am I different than other guys?"

"There's not a lot that gets past me." Oh for the love of God, and here come's our food. This waitress isn't getting a tip if she doesn't stop coming over and screwing with my timing. Once she leaves I continue. "So uncomfortable in a good way, huh? Care to elaborate on that one before I answer your question?"

I smirk at him and take a bite of my salad.

"I do believe I asked you first. Answer me then I will answer you." I raise an eyebrow at her.
