How the hell do people make tracks longer than about 2 minutes?
I've been working on this piece all afternoon, it's sounding pretty good (if rather cliched) and I've put a ton of effort into it (quite complex drums)
So I play it back and the running time: 1min 32secs.
Okay, so I could repeat bits, but isn't that a bit of a swizz? People expect every second to be hand-crafted, not cut-n-pasted.
Making a rod for my own back? Maybe.
