that C deals with trauma by blowing things all out of proportion and convinces herself that things are much worse than they really are at the time of writing in the diary, and that now with calm clarity and 20/20 hindsight remembers things as they actually were.
At the end of the day, does it really matter as long as your (and now my) good friend C is happy. At the very best "truth" is subjective. Really, I'm jealous. I mean if only i could invent myself an alternate reality I'd never come back. or is that what really did happen...?
