"Shhh," Lucius hissed, clapping his hand over the other man's mouth. There was a flail of protest, but the sound of heavy boots treading nearby made young Barty Crouch fall silent. An Auror strode past; Shacklebolt, if Lucius recalled correctly - which he always did.
When the danger had passed, he turned to glare at the man who'd just about gotten them killed, or worse, sent to Azkaban.
"Never do such a foolish thing again," he hissed. "You will need to be a lot more faithful to the commands you're given if you wish to gain the Dark Lord's favour."
