Theme Eighteen: Love~
Mizumi wasn’t feeling the happiest. It was winter break and she’d finally gotten her grades back.
“What’s wrong?” her friend asked, “You’re sitting out here in the snow staring into space.” he said touching her shoulder and making her jump.
“Ah…gomen Mika.” she said sitting back down, and looking up as the snow slowly fell from the sky. “I didn’t even notice it was snowing.”
“Aren’t you freezing?” he asked breathing on her ear slightly making her shiver.
“Not really…” she sighed, “I’m just thinking about classes.”
“It’s break now.” Mika grinned at her, “Why are you thinking about classes.”
Mizumi shrugged, “’Cause an education is important and the fact that I didn’t do so great makes it even more so important.”
He scooted closer to her and grabbed her hands. “You’re hands are cold.”
“You’re are like ice!” Mizumi said taking her hand away, “It could be the rings you always wear.” she grinned, “But thanks for the gesture…”
They sat in silence, when she sighed again, “I feel so…stupid.”
“You’re not stupid…you’re amazing and smart and…”
“Stop please.” She looked away feeling her cheeks sting from the blood rushing to them in the cold air. “I don’t want to hear what you were going to say.”
“I was going to say cute.” he said brought turning her head slowly so he could look at her, “Anata wa kawaii desu.”
Mizumi blushed and didn’t move when she felt his lips lightly brush hers. He pulled away and was blushing as well. “I…I’m sorry.”
“No…no it’s alright.” She said breathlessly from a small peck, “It’s fine.”
“Actually…” he swallowed a bit and looked away from her before looking back at her, “Daisuki…Daisuki…”
“Daisuki desu yo?” she finished for him smiling, “Hontou? Even though I’m…”
“You are nothing but wonderful, and so you might not have done your best now but I know you’ll do your best In the future.” He said kissing her again.
