three continuity notes
1. in the 1990's, kids didn't carry cellphones to school. That didn't start until 9/11/2001. If they even had a cellphone, which was not as common as the average kid would think these days. Cellphones were big, unwieldy, and stupid-looking until the late 90's, and very expensive to own for quite a while.
2. the winchesters didn't discover packing rock salt rounds into shotguns until after Sam went to college - as evidenced by his surprise in Asylum when Dean starts doing just that. Please be of stopping having the rock salt in the guns in teen!chester fic.
