I know what you did last weekend
So last weekend I went to NJ and did a huge group project cosplay. We did Final Fantasy XIII Agito, which is some kinda PSP/DS/maybe cellphone game spinoff of FF13 that involves 12 characters in school uniforms. Since we were working off three pictures total, we know nothing about the characters, which forces me to assume that Karate (the character I cosplayed) is the shouta wannabe character who thinks he's a badass but is secretly a woobie because I was the only one with no prop/weapon and short hair. We have the complete set. this is awesome, apparently.
I'm forbidden from posting the group photos: the two we have apparently took several hours to photoshop to acceptability so I'm not allowed to spread them around, you have to get permission from everyone else in the group before you can post a picture, and I have no photoshop skills anyway so if someone said 'you have to fix this first' I'd be stuck. So instead you get me being Li Syaoran lame.

The trip went surprisingly well! shiroro has the complete credits for the weekend, but suffice to say that with 12 characters/cosplayers, multiple photographers, and multiple 'help staff' - people to guard our stuff/etc - the project was massive but successful.
I'm too lazy to post in detail about the whole thing, but in short:
--I predicted the timeframe for everything within MINUTES of accuracy:
(1)what time we'd finish the costumes (7 AM)
(2)what time we'd start the photoshoot (11 AM)
(3)what time the photoshoot would end (1 PM)
(4)what time we'd start again on Sunday (2 PM)
(The original given timeframe was (1)10PM, (2)9AM, (3)11AM, and (4)1PM.)
Never let it be said I haven't been doing this too long. 36 hours straight awake between Friday and Saturday! This was easier when I was younger, orz.
--Faithful 202 is faithful. It took forever to drive it but at least it never failed to let us know we were on it.
--All drivers not from my home state: BARROWMAN!! *shakes fist*
--six-inch-wide bandages are awesome
--dedpoo is incredibly fun to hang out with, as always
--kitsunesqueak is very cute
--amecandy is a trooper
--yeu got teased a lot about INVISIBLE HEMS (sorry, yeu! Only not really haha)
--shiroro did a great job organizing us
--strife_cosplay is hot and fashionably late ♥
--rukawagf kept me on track and is hooooooot
--picaaa is cute and incredible for cosplaying during finals week
--blankoo is enthusiastic and fun to hang with
--lokcha You were so cute! I need to get to know you.
--arumake is a trooper and came out while sick to ensure we had a complete set
--Mario, whose LJ name has numbers I can't ever remember, and his girlfriend were also troopers in the cold that is NYC's Central Park
--blackmarth is persistent and I'm extremely grateful for that, because - well - PORK BUNS. Thanks for your emotional support.
--gumii takes amazing pictures apparently without effort. I'm jealous.
--Central Park is beautiful, even when I'm cold and sleep-deprived.
--Sorry to everyone for nearly being sick on the bus and train to NYC and Central Park.
--Pork buns are delicious. Actually, all asian foods are delicious, really. (I'm making myself hungry.)
--Thanks to yeu's parents for hosting so many of us. I hope we didn't trash your house.
--I wish there had been time for Mario Party.
