Dad and the flower came over last night after dinner to help with the front closet. Aside from some fractiousness on her part (of an all-day nature, I think), things went well. I am not a nosy person. Curious, yes. Inquisitive, yes. In general awe of and with wonder in the world, yes. Well, most of the time. But sometimes my job is really boring (even when I'm working my ass off), so sometimes I look at people's names on their credit cards, even if I don't need to match a signature or an id. Parade was very short. Loads of music and dancers. A couple guys with those walker-type things with drums and cymbals all over them, playing as they walked. I've been dreaming of pretzels with hot/sweet/spicy mustard dip. And I know there's a package in some sorting room in Belfast with kettlecorn and new music in it and it's killing me that after a week's catch-up, they've only delivered 2 or 3 pieces of overseas mail.
