Saturday, was an event i was not only intrinsic in it's planning, but instrumental; it was cesar chavez day, in albuquerque, and a big day at that. I designed the vinyl banners, flyers, ets for the Brown Berets of NM--an organization of which i've gained considerable ground, as i'm minister of PR. The event as awesome! Like last year, it kicked ass. WHen we reached our march destination, I was surprised at our reception; I mean, we were getting fucking hit on, by babes! You ladies always love uniforms!
I sweaR, i've never have so many woman spanning ages 17-45 making such hungry eyes for me!
Later, i went to the "erratic" friends' pad, to claim my birthday card, and to hang out. It was okay, except for my dying phone, which had been notoriously for days on end. I left her house in angry haste -- when she decided to stray from our plans of being faded and watching Sopranos, and knelt near my ear to ask me if i'd give her a ride some where. When i refused, shed became her hostile self, and i left. But i left my phone charger. I had no choice; eiither drive bact to town and try my luck at getting my charger, or ditch everything and get a new phone and provider. I did the latter, and i'm happy. I have been too cheap on myslef for far too long, AND it's time i get to being decent toward myself.
