Blaaaargh.
I, uh, had an EKG and chest CAT scan today. See, I woke up this afternoon (I worked overnight) with horrible chest pain. I assumed it was something to do with my cold so I called my doctor. They told me to go to the emergency room to rule out heart problems >_<
My heart rate was really elevated when I was being triaged (about 120 when normal is, like, 70), so they decided to do the whole OMG CHEST PAINS work-up. Fortunately, they didn't find anything wrong and decided my pains and heart rate were due to stress. The doctor did decide to prescribe antibiotics for me since I've been getting the same cold over and over again for about a month and I might actually have a bacterial sinus infection at this point.
I do have to say it was kind of nice to be the patient instead of working at the ER for once.
Anyway, no holiday comics today because I still feel really crappy and want to go to bed. I'll do two tomorrow! I hope everyone is doing okay.
P.S. It's snowing big, beautiful (non-ash) flakes at the moment. Yay!
