Aah! I'm a couple of hours late with this. I'm still fighting a cold and I had to work tonight (I'm technically still working), so. Oh well.
Our story tonight comes from Hellblazer #250 or the Hellblazer Holiday Special! Originally published in December 2008, "Snow Had Fallen" was written by China Mieville of all people, "brokedown" by Giuseppe Camuncoli, finished by Stefano Landini, colored by Jamie Grant, and lettered by Jared K. Fletcher. Fair warning: this is a creepy story.
I experienced "snowing" ash one time. My freshman year of college, a house on the same street as my dorm caught fire and all of these white flakes started coming down. It was, like, 70 degrees out so everyone was all WTF until we figured out what it was. I found that rather benign occurrence to be creepy enough, so this story was like "Brr!" for me.
