"What is that thing?"

Look who's going to be on Batman: The Brave and the Bold tomorrow!

arch_schatten and taro_twist, we should totally watch it.

In other Kirby-related news, Darkseid Minus the New Gods is genius:

Finally, it's solicitations time!

It's Blackest Night in the neighborhood,
Who you gonna call?

BAT-BUSTERS!

SPOILER ALERT: Zombie!Bruce tells them to cross the beams.

More Blackest Night:

Hal: Aaaaah!
Sinestro: Aaaaah!

Kyle: Aaaaah!
Guy: Kyle, would you please shut the hell up? Tryin' to fight here!

And in this issue, the Titans reenact the zombie!baby scene from the Dawn of Dead remake.

Okay, enough of that.

The Doom Patrol vs. the Large Hadron Collider? I am so there.

"War breaks out on the new Devil's Island and the Six are split in half. Now they’re on opposite sides and ready to die (or kill) for their cause!"

But whose side is Ragdoll on?! The cover does not tell me! Deadshot's girlfriend is also absent, but that's okay. We all know Deadshot is in love with Catman anyway.

Gorgeous art, BTW.

Amanda Connor's art is always worthwhile, but I really like the composition of this cover as well.

Whooo! I adore giant anthology issues! Those Christmas and Halloween specials DC has been putting out for the last couple of years have been aces. Sure, there's always a few crappy stories in each one, but they're offset by just as many good stories. And the premise of this issue (time travel, random team-ups) sounds great.

Also exciting is Jeff Lemire's first work for Vertigo. That cover is just the right amount of creepy.

Has anyone read this? is it good? It looks good, but I've been burned by Chaykin's work for DC before.

Is there anyone who wants an Electric Boogaloo Superman figure? Especially one with thighs wider than its head?

And one Marvel:

I'm so excited for this! Paul Pope! James Kochalka! Michael Kupperman! Jason! Whooo!
