Is It August Yet?
DC solicitations for August were released today. Here are my unsolicited opinions about some of them! Or I just make fun of them.
I can't begin to describe how much I am looking forward to this series. I hope he really does visit everyone on that cover because 80s Question! Carrie Kelly! Guy Gardner! Eeeee!
OMG! This mini is going to rock so hard! I love the art to death already. It's interesting that there's going to be another female Metal Man. Er, woman. Person. Shouldn't they change their name to the Metal People? Okay, no, because then I expect a cowboy robot, and a construction worker robot, and a cop robot...
How can a team-up with Donna Troy, Red Hood, the new Atom, an apparently naked Ray Palmer, and "Bob the Monitor" not be awesome?
I know this looks bad, but actually Batman just has a breath-control fetish.
Green Lantern: So, it looks like we're trapped in this giant eye.
Batman: That appears to be the case, yes.
Green Lantern: Wanna make out?
Batman: ...Okay.
So, I'm excited about the new Teen Titans line-up as well as the new creative team, but all I can think about when I look at this cover is "Why is Robin doing a crotch-thrust while saying 'Titans Together?'"
I guess Superman goes to Hell in issue #666 of Superman. Not quite as good as the plan for Batman #666, but I approve.
Who knows what evil lurks in the pages of Justice League Unlimited? The Question knows!
