No... not christmas! The Fall Lineup has been announced... so these are the shows, that I'm thinking are gonna take up my time next season:
Returning shows:
The Apprentice, My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, Desperate Housewives, Lost, The Amazing Race, 24, American Dad, Family Guy, Prison Break, America's Next Top Model, Veronica Mars, South Park, Drawn Together)
(Earl and The Office really surprised me last season. Housewives, Lost and American Dad really need to step up their game, but I'm giving them another chance. Scrubs made a comeback... not that it ever stopped being funny... There was just more interesting things to watch. Amazing Race, 24, Family Guy and Prison Break goes without saying... all terrific shows. Top Model and Apprentice is kinda my crack... I've got to have it... plus Ivanka Trump rocks!! South Park and Drawn Together are damn funny!! Veronica Mars... love it... love her, love the show, love the writing (hate Logan but that's a minor thing). It deserves all the viewers it can possibly get! Watch it!!)
New shows:
Friday Night Lights, Heroes, Kidnapped, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Big Day, Six Degrees, Jericho, Smith
(I love the movie and book Friday Night Lights, and the story is captivating enough to make into a series. I love superhero movies, so a show like Heroes should be right up my alley. Kidnapped should be cool and Studio 60... well the premise kinda remind me of Sports Night (another Sorkin show that rocked!), so I HAVE to watch that. Big Day should be fun... Wedding are always fun to watch. Six Degrees has a cool concept. Jericho seems like Lost: the mainland edition, and Smith... Just seems cool...)
New shows that I will give a chance, but am still on the fence about:
30 Rock, The Black Donnellys, The Singles Table, Betty the Ugly, Brothers & Sisters, Men in Trees, The Nine, Traveler, The Class, Vanished, The Game, Runaway
(I'm giving these shows a chance (a couple of episodes) to impress me... But they don't really catch my attention off the mark... except Traveler... but I'm still kinda iffy about it)
Old shows that I will give a chance, but am still on the fence about:
ER, Las Vegas, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, How I Met Your Mother, Without A Trace, House, The OC, The Simpsons, Gilmore Girls, Smallville
(ER, Las Vegas, CSI, Without A Trace and The OC have gotten old... If they go in new directions with them (which I don't see happening), I MIGHT tune in... if nothing better is on. Medium never really quite grabbed me the first season... it was the kinda show I watched if I was bored, and that's probably the same role it's gonna be playing this time around. The same goes for Gilmore Girls. How I Met Your Mother finale was actually funny (and it was the only episode I watched), so I might tune in if it stays funny, but I don't feel the need to watch the entire first season of it... Seem like it could be kind of a one joke-show. House is better in small doses, he gets annoying after a while. I like super hero-stuff, but it is kinda hard to watch a show like Smallville, when you only find one person cool (Chloe)... The Simpsons need to be put to sleep... seriously... All the people I know, just watch it because it's The Simpsons... The jokes and gags are getting old and stale...)
