So, the news was released today that Peter Jackson is going to make 'The Hobbit' into three movies, not two, and heaven strike him down he if attempted to make one movie out of a solitary book. Really.

I just wanted to let you know that I just finished Jacob Have I Loved the day before yesterday, and that I think it's one of the worst books I've ever completed reading. I cannot help but compare it to that second masterpiece of Newbery Nihilism (a term I have just defined), Out of the Dust.
