this puts a smile on my face. basically, everytime i see you post something esp jaemin, it does that.

haters are going to hate, and it can be so easy to get distracted by the criticism to the point that one forgets about the other side of the spectrum - the many others who love what you do.

they should be the ones you focus on.

that's so true. but even so, in the days following the incident, i honestly contemplated stopping completely. it's so easy to get discouraged, and i didn't think i could write comfortably or enjoyably for a long time after that. i still don't think i can, unfortunately. this particular piece came out of the blue, i struggled a bit with it, and it's far from decent.

but i'll try. i don't have as much free time as i used to, but i'll try when i can. :) i miss my otps and dbsk more and more, so hopefully that'll help somehow, too.

This was really beautiful, heart-wrenching, and hopeful at the same time. I love how for once Changmin doesn't correct Jaejoong on the facts because damn if this doesn't apply to a whole slew of things. But min understands that and understands Jaejoong. With the note on the cup I thought a lot of different things but saw it mostly as a way to give comfort to Min when he needs it so that he knows he can come to Jaejoong when it rains and together they can wait for the rainbow. Run on sentence sprints. Lol.

So that's what we have to do, ne? Sit it out and wait for the sun and wait for the rainbow.

i loved reading your interpretation of this! lol. even though i'm not sure what all i was aiming for when i wrote it. just sort of a.. 'let's have hope' kind of feeling, i guess? for fandom, for me, for everything. but i like the way you interpreted it, too. :) i agree - let's sit it out and wait for that rainbow. ♥
