I was thinking of ordering the US version of the DVD, but maybe I should wait for the R2 DVD after all, since SFX reports that the British R2 version is going to include a 20 minute featurette called "A Film-Maker's Journey" - "a journey with Joss from script to screen" that is not going to be on the R1 DVDs ( Read more... )

I just found out (source, in Finnish) that Serenity will not be coming to the theatres after all, but will instead be a direct-to-video release - and who knows when that's going to happen ( Read more... )
