Privacy and publicity
For this almost year that I have now had this journal, I have struggled between keeping it "private" and letting it get "public". By keeping it private, I mean keeping it known by only people who know my net personality, and not necessarily who I am in real life. After a while I made my blog adress available to a few friends and consequently later friended people I know in real life, though I still considered them to be a fairly small crowd.
Still, a couple of weeks ago I decided to enter my journal in the Finnish blog list and today I was asked if I wanted my blog to be listed with other Finnish sf fandom blogs, under my own name.
This was a tough choice, but what decided me was that a lot of Finnish sf people already know about this blog and that it's me who is writing it. I haven't really tried to keep it as any kind major secret or anything, just as my own private silly ramblings of the films, tv, life, the universe, and everything...
